Ronnie Penney, Director
Ronnie Penney has served on the South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative Board since 2009. He has also served as a delegate on the Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation Board. He is a fully certified and credentialed director with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Ronnie has lived and worked in the cooperative area for most of his life, graduating from Arkadelphia High School and attending Henderson State University. He has been the System Manager of the Clark County Water Facilities for twenty-one years. He owns and operates Ron Penney Construction, Inc., which specializes in water and sewer installation in southwest Arkansas. Ronnie is a licensed contractor in the state of Arkansas. He is a cattle farmer and a premium buyer for the 4-H Livestock Sale. Ronnie belongs to the Clark County Farm Bureau, the Clark County Home Builders Association, the Clark County Cattleman's Association, and the Arkansas Water Manager's Association. He and his wife Betsy live outside Arkadelphia and attend Cedar Grove Baptist Church. They have three adult children.
