2026 Holiday Card Design Contest

Members First. Every Day. Every Decision. Even during the holidays, we're proud to celebrate the creativity and spirit of the communities we serve.

South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative is inviting our young artists to help design our Official 2026 Holiday Greeting Card!

The winning artwork will be featured on this year's holiday card, which is shared with members, community leaders, legislators, business partners, and friends of the cooperative throughout Arkansas and beyond.

In addition to having their artwork featured, the winning artist will receive:

  • A commemorative gift
  • A $100 Visa Gift Card
  • Recognition on SCAEC's website and social media
  • Featured in Arkansas Living Magazine

Contest Rules

Eligibility

  1. Students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade are eligible.
  2. Students must attend public school, private school, or homeschool within the South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative service area.

Artwork Requirements

  1. Artwork must be original.
  2. Any artistic medium may be used, including:
    • Crayons
    • Colored pencils
    • Markers
    • Watercolor
    • Acrylic
    • Oil

    Please do not use glitter or materials that may fall off during handling.

  3. Artwork must be completed on a 8½ inch × 11 inch paper in landscape (horizontal) format.
  4. 1 entry per student.
  5. Artwork may be in color or black and white.
  6. Holiday greetings may be included; however, SCAEC reserves the right to determine the final greeting used on the printed card.

Judging

Entries will be judged on:

  • Creativity
  • Originality
  • Holiday Spirit
  • Community Spirit
  • Cooperative Theme
