Service Area

South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative, Inc., (SCAEC) serves approximately 9,940 member accounts throughout parts of eight counties in south central Arkansas. Members are located in Clark, Dallas, Hempstead, Howard, Hot Spring, Montgomery, Nevada and Pike counties.

The Cooperative owns and maintains over 1,810 miles of distribution power lines and nine substations.

SCAEC has an account base of 95% residential and 5% commercial and industrial accounts.
